This design is inspired by traditional Ghanaian kente cloth. The pattern is called 'Akwaaba'.
'Akwaaba' is a Twi word that means 'Welcome'. It is often said to those who come from outside Ghana, or who have travelled from a far location. When a foreigner visits Ghana, locals greet them by saying “Akwaaba!”
The socks come in two sizes: small (EU shoe size 35 - 40) and large (EU shoe size 41 - 46). They are 90% cotton, 8% polyamide, and 2% elastane.
